The race offseason is often our busiest season helping new customers with their new project and past customers with upgrades to their projects. We realize that it has been difficult to get through to us on our phones & we apologize. The part will be cut out of 0.190" 6061 aluminum, which is pretty much as thin as it can be for the countersinks.Ford Mustang & Fox Body & SN95 Mustang Engine Swap Kits The adapter flange will bolt to the upper intake with flat head machine screws so those holes will require a countersink. After a week of tinkering on the design, I cut another prototype today and all the holes lines up. I was able to correct the issue by scanning a ruler and measuring the ruler in the program and counteract the scale. The holes of the prototype didn't line up with the 1" adapter and I discovered that my scanner applied a small amount of scale to the image so everything was off. Last week was my first time there and cut out my first prototype out of 1/4" acrylic with the laser cutter. We have a "Fablab" on our college campus in town where people can use laser cutters, 3d printers, wood working tools, etc. I used my scanner to scan the 1" adapter flange and trace it out in a program called Inkscape.
